These are books I have read and thoroughly enjoyed. One small but important caveat: these books are chosen solely on my own personal opinion, which, of course, may not match your own!

It’s very hard to pick a favorite Lisa Kleypas,
but Someone to Watch Over Me has
a special place in my heart. It’s the first book in
her Bow Street Runner series (all of which are just delicious,)
the hero is a big sexy Bow Street runner, and the heroine
has amnesia at the start of the book! What’s not to
love? Someone to Watch Over Me was
first released in 1999, but it was re-released with a gorgeous
new cover just last fall. If you haven’t read this book
yet, you really need to!
