Bio
Elizabeth Hoyt is the New York Times bestselling author of over twenty-five lush historical romance. Publishers Weekly has called her writing “mesmerizing.” In 2018 she received the RT Book Reviews Career Achievement Award for Historical Romance.
Born in balmy New Orleans, Elizabeth grew up in frigid St Paul, Minnesota where she loved winters (and the rest of the seasons, but winter is the only season anyone asks about for some reason.) She has a BA from Madison, Wisconsin in anthropology—perhaps not the most career-oriented of degrees. Fortunately, she married right after college and was soon the mother of two wonderful daughters. It wasn’t until Elizabeth’s youngest was entering kindergarten that it occurred to her that perhaps she ought to start work. She chose writing—well known as a money-making career. (Ha!) Elizabeth soon found that writing was addicting. The Raven Prince was published in 2006 to rave revues, and—surprisingly!—made money.
After moving around too much Elizabeth has settled in sunny Minneapolis, Minnesota where she attempts to keep house with two silly dogs and a less silly daughter. Elizabeth still loves to write.
